New Zealand is Evil!
There's so much to do here - rafting, diving, hiking, bungy jumping, etc, etc, etc. But, everything is expensive and getting around the islands is both expensive and time-consuming, so having a hard time deciding just what to do. Once again, need more time!

How are the locals?
If you need more time clearly you should stick around through April so I can join you!
The locals are friendly, happy to help, and perfectly happy to organize a wide variety of exciting activities that will take your money! Of course, I haven't seen all that many locals so far - there's a ton of tourists (backpackers mostly) everywhere!
Oh, and Lott, you should come to New Caledonia in April first - you can apparently dive a sunken WWII aircraft carrier - USS Calvin Coolidge! It's not quite on my way, and I don't really have time, but I'm going! In mid-April most likely.
